This years Mr. and Miss Knippa High School, junior Danny Garza and sophomore, Lexi Stevens. The Knippa High School student body selected them on Oct. 28.
The Knippa varsity volleyball team traveled to Somerset High School on Tuesday to take on Runge for round one of the playoffs. The Lady Crushers won the match in three consecutive sets with scores 25-15, 25-11, and 25-16.
Kennedy Thompson led the team with 13 kills while Kayleigh Griffin contributed six aces and 28 assists.
Dates To Remember
The Elementary Awards Ceremony and pre-K / kindergarten bell ringer ceremony will be held on Nov. 10.
The Veterans Day ceremony and parade is scheduled for Nov. 11th at 9 a.m.
Alesandra Gonzales and Ryan Santos competed at the regional cross country meet in Corpus Christi on Oct. 25. Gonzales placed 21st in the girls division with a time of 14:11 and Santos placed 32nd in the boys division with a time of 19:27.
